About Roundabout
Ottawa's busiest self-service laundromat and the highest-rated laundry business in the city. We do self-serve, wash-dry-fold, dry cleaning, and pickup & delivery. We're a small team turning a boring industry into something interesting, and we're hiring a Store Manager to lead the floor.
About the role
You'll run day-to-day operations at 1097 Cyrville Rd. Coach a team of Laundry Liaisons, own customer escalations, keep the schedule filled, and jump into shifts when needed. You report to the Operations Manager and work closely with our delivery team so the floor and the delivery side run as one operation.

You'll inherit a strong team already delivering great customer service. Your job is to lead and grow them, not build from zero.
What you'd own
Running the floor.
You decide the day-to-day rhythm. As long as the results are there, the how is yours.
Coaching the team.
Set the standard for delightful customer service and get your Liaisons to hit it in every interaction.
Customer escalations.
The ones that need real judgment come to you.
Scheduling.
Build it, fill gaps, step into a shift when someone calls in.
Bridging with delivery.
Keep the floor and the delivery team running as one, alongside the Operations Manager.
Community engagement.
Host events and initiatives that build Roundabout's presence in the neighbourhood.
Who we think you are
You've led a team of 5+ people for 2+ years. You can speak to specific wins and challenges from that time.
You're comfortable with scheduling, inventory, and light admin work.
You know your way around Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and cloud tools. Bonus if you're using AI in your workflow.
You solve problems by leading, not just delegating.
You want a career, not a job. You'll build here, not just show up.
You can work Friday through Monday, with a fifth day by mutual agreement.
